Custom Craftsmanship in A Walnut and Quartz Bathroom Redesign
Step into a Lancaster bathroom transformation built entirely on premium materials. From custom Omega cabinetry to a striking five-light barn door, this project highlights how expertly paired finishes create a cohesive, high-end space.
When redesigning a bathroom, selecting the right materials dictates the entire feel of the room. For this project, the homeowners wanted a balance of rich wood tones and clean, durable surfaces. By incorporating a cohesive brushed nickel hardware finish and a unique custom sliding door, we created a highly functional and beautifully integrated space.

Crafting a Custom Walnut and Quartz Bathroom
The Design Strategy: Balancing Warmth and Light
The foundation of any stunning bathroom redesign lies in the material selection. For this Lancaster home, the homeowners wanted a space that felt both exceptionally clean and deeply inviting.
To anchor the room, we installed premium Omega cabinetry in a rich walnut wood species with a chestnut finish. The Cayhill door design provides a tailored, transitional look that bridges classic and modern styles perfectly. To contrast the deep tones of the walnut, we topped the vanity with MSI Calacatta Fioressa quartz. This high-end surface delivers the timeless, luxurious look of natural marble with the unmatched durability and low-maintenance benefits of quartz.
Engineering the Wet Space
A custom walk-in shower is the centerpiece of this primary bathroom. We utilized massive 16”x32” White Lucido Rett River tiles from Garden State Tile for the shower walls. Large-format tiles mean fewer grout lines, which visually expands the space and makes cleaning significantly easier.
To tie the color palette together from the ground up, we laid Armstrong Alterna flooring in Gravity Cream. This provided a soft, warm base that complements both the bright shower and the dark walnut vanity.
The Finishing Touches of Hardware and Architectural Details
In high-end remodeling, the details dictate the final feel of the room. We outfitted the sink and shower with matching Moen fixtures in a brushed nickel finish, perfectly paired with Top Knobs cabinet pulls on the vanity. The brushed nickel adds a soft, sophisticated gleam that doesn’t overpower the room’s natural textures.
However, the true showstopper of this project is the custom-built, five-light sliding barn door. This architectural addition not only acts as a stunning visual focal point but also serves a highly practical purpose, saving valuable floor space that a traditional swinging door would have required.
The “Dream” Master Closet Integration
A luxury bathroom isn’t complete without the storage to match. For this project, we expanded the remodel to include a custom master closet that the homeowners described as the “closet of their dreams.” Ingeniously tucked right next to one of the vanity sinks, the layout wraps seamlessly around behind the vanity wall to maximize every inch of available space. This clever floor plan creates a private, highly functional dressing area that flows perfectly with the rest of the new master suite.
